Hangzhou Echo Education
This was an English summer training programme that took place at a school in China that caters to various English levels and age-groups. The teacher took part in a broad range of TEFL-focused leadership and teaching activities. These included planning and leading English lessons, setting up cultural exchange events and generally devising creative and engaging ways for the students to activate their English while doing something fun. There was a balance between traditional classroom English teaching and more creative co-curricular activities. The programme included training on TEFL theory and the teacher was required to demonstrate their knowledge in TEFL theory in online exercises at the end of their programme.
