China needs no introduction.

Come and see what all the fuss is about.

We are delighted to invite you to join us in China. If you’re looking to spend time in one of the most hyped and exciting countries in Asia, and gain a teaching qualification, Gotoco welcomes you!

Free & Funded Programmes in China

Our placements are uniquely well-funded. All our programmes in China are free-to-access. That includes TEFL training and qualification, mentorship, and a teaching placement with accommodation*, meals**, and culture introductions included.

2-6 Week Placements

Our winter camp programmes run for 2-6 weeks in the Chinese winter break, which is usually in January and/or February. To participate, you’ll need to remain flexible with your availability during this period.

There are also a small number of programmes that start in December before Christmas.

Many programmes will run up to, or even over, Chinese New Year, giving you the chance to celebrate the Lunar New Year in China!

Competitive Application Process

Earlier applications are prioritised, so don’t put off applying! Places are confirmed 1–2 months before programme start dates.

Want Faster Confirmation?

If you prefer earlier clarity on your plans, check out our programmes in Vietnam and Thailand, where dates are confirmed much sooner.

We hope our course will help you to launch a career in this exciting sector, with skills and insights gained transferable to teaching and other career routes in China – or anywhere in the world.

Along the way, experience a fascinating new culture and language, and gain valuable qualifications and skills.

* Accommodation varies according to the programme and it will usually be a shared room.

** Meals provided in the programme are aligned with what locals eat and do not always include drinks. If a participant chooses to go out for meals outside the programme, then meals are their own responsibility.
