Can you tell me about some of your most enjoyable moments of the trip?

After having got used to the teaching and lesson planning, being able to really interact with the children and build a strong relationship with them was the most rewarding aspect of the trip for me.

Which were the highlights of the lessons, cultural excursions and outdoor activities?

There was only one cultural excursion/outdoor activity organised that we were all able to go on, to the Totem path and Dragon’s den caves – an interesting experience of Chinese tourism.

How would you say the overall experience has benefited you?

I learnt a lot from the experience as a whole, and particularly now feel more confident as a teacher. I also feel that spending a long period of time in China taught me a lot about the country and the people.

What was the best thing about your experience in China?

Seeing a new country and getting to know a beautiful area of it.

Would you recommend participating to a friend and if so why?

Yes, as in the end the teaching experience was a very rewarding one.
