Could you please tell us about some of your most enjoyable moments of the trip?

Building relationships with the students, and seeing their progress in the time we were teaching there was very rewarding. Embracing a new culture through the routine of day-to-day life and cuisine was a good experience, and perhaps better than usual as we had an opportunity to immerse ourselves.

Which were the highlights of the lessons, cultural excursions and outdoor activities?

My highlight was the trip to Guangzhou, where we had an opportunity to do a wide variety of activities including horse riding.

How would you say the overall experience has benefited you?

Encouraged me to travel more, especially in China, and motivated me to learn Mandarin and explore other opportunities in China.

What was the best thing about your experience in China?

Sharing new experiences with existing friends and new friends I made on the trip.

Would you recommend participating to a friend and if so why?

Yes, it is a good way to travel, and at the same time improve and learn teaching skills
