James joined our programme in the city of Yangzhou in the summer of 2016, please read on for his feedback.

Can you tell me about some of your most enjoyable moments of the trip?

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people. It was great to learn and experience a new culture!

Which were the highlights of the lessons, cultural excursions and outdoor activities?

I loved the teaching. The teachers were all very friendly and welcoming. I was never too far away from help if I needed it. I thoroughly enjoyed the teaching and the relationship I built with my students and fellow teachers over the summer.

What was the best thing about your experience in China?

I enjoyed the travelling, meeting new people and teaching.

Would you recommend participating to a friend and if so why?

Absolutely. This is a great opportunity, its not everyday you can go to China!

 

How would you say the overall experience has benefited you?

I would say this trip has made me more confident in myself. Even though its cliche, anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
