Free&Funded Programmes in China
Our placements are uniquely well-funded. All our programmes in China are free-to-access. That includes TEFL training and qualification, mentorship, and a teaching placement with accommodation* and meals** included–and a trip at the end to our stunning base in Yangshuo, South China.
Flexible Dates for Summer Programmes
Summer programmes run for 3–8 weeks between late June and early September with start dates typically falling in late June or early July. To participate, you’ll need to remain flexible with your availability during this period and you can let us know more about your availability on your application form.
Placement Confirmation Process
Final placements and dates for our China programmes are confirmed 1–2 months before programme start dates, as this is when our partners in China usually confirm their final summer programme dates and teams. This means that you may need to wait until April-June for your final programme dates.
This programme is great for your career development whether you’re interested in a career in teaching or not. Our TESOL qualification and the teaching experience will open doors to teaching jobs worldwide, while the transferable skills gained inside and outside of the classroom will benefit you in any other industry.
* Accommodation varies according to the programme and it will usually be a shared room.
** Meals provided in the programme are aligned with what locals eat and do not always include drinks. If you go out for meals outside the programme, then these meals are your own responsibility. During the end of programme trip some group meals may be provided, but most meals will be independent and also your own responsibility.

Our China Teaching Programme is your launchpad for a global and impactful career. On the programme, you will receive:
You will need to fund your own visa (ca. £220) and flights, and bring personal spending money for extracurricular activities or personal travel outside the programme schedule.
We encourage all applicants to look into college travel grants to support your flight and visa costs.
You will be teaching English and international culture to local Chinese students, usually on an activities summer camp or in a school setting.
